So you’ve been struggling, and you are able to login to your ftp server using filezilla, but cannot login using the foscam ftp wizard. No stress, a very simple change will sort it out – simply enable any kind of write command in /etc/vsftpd.conf and you’ll be good to go.
Instructions:
- sudo gedit /etc/vsftp.conf
- Uncomment the line which says write_enable = YES
