How to Install Ardour on Ubuntu

Ardour, the digital audio workstation is an open source audio editing software that is free to download but offers in program purchases. It allows you to record, edit and mix digital tracks and podcasts.

Assuming you require a Debian distribution package, follow these simple steps to installation.

TO get started with, open your terminal with:

Ctrl+Alt+T

Then run the following commands, one life after the other:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dobey/audiotools

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ardour

Or you can directly download the .deb installer from the PPA page.
